Automotive Service Technician - Shearer Acura

Shearer Acura is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. If you take pride in quality work, accurate diagnostics, and doing the job right the first time, we want to meet you. We provide a clean, well-equipped shop, strong support from the service team, and the tools you need to succeed.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures and service bulletins
• Document work performed and communicate needs or additional repairs clearly
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all safety guidelines
• Participate in manufacturer training as required

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications (preferred or required based on role)
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification
• Manufacturer training as required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong diagnostic skills and a team-first attitude

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 4 years of automotive technician experience (or equivalent training)
