We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to join our Chicago Leasing Team! The annual salary for this role is $55,000 with full benefits after 90 days of employment.
Overall Responsibility:
The Compliance Analyst is a team member of the Compliance Department assisting and implementing quality assurance and qualification guidelines for Residential Lease submissions.
Essential Functions:
- The focus of this role is to actively identify and implement quality assurance processes associated with Residential Leasing.
- Audit lease submissions to ensure all leasing quality standards are met.
- Position responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of proof of income, lease application workflow, and quality assurance flow for data collection purposes.
- Coordinating with other teams including Leasing, Resident Services, Retention, Accounting and Maintenance.
- Ensure that all sales compliance procedures adhere to Federal, State & Local Fair Housing regulations.
- Complete employment verifications when required.
- Audit Subsidy application to ensure proper guidelines are followed.
- Measure and identify opportunities for procedural improvement, provide recommendations, and execute ideas.
- Other projects as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in process improvement preferred.
- Proficient in basic math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize & manage time required.
- Critical thinking skills
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the role.
