What You’ll Do
You will play a key role in ensuring the firm remains compliant with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, as well as all professional licensing, registration, and certification obligations. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage systems that track regulatory responsibilities, firm registrations, contracts, and insurance coverage across multiple jurisdictions.
You will bring experience in compliance, legal support, or regulatory affairs, ideally within a professional service or highly regulated environment, and you will be comfortable working independently. You will proactively build efficient, scalable compliance processes, manage deadlines with precision, and ensure the firm stays ahead of evolving regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and professional association requirements.
- Develop and manage systems for tracking professional licenses, certifications, registrations, and continuing education requirements.
- Oversee registration, renewal, and filing processes for local, state, and federal licenses and regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and external advisors to ensure timely registrations with Secretaries of State and relevant taxing authorities.
- Track and maintain professional liability insurance and other required insurance policies.
- Monitor lease agreements and ensure timely renewals, amendments, or negotiations.
- Manage contract renewals and compliance-related agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory communications, notices, and inquiries.
- Proactively identify upcoming deadlines and compliance risks, ensuring timely resolution.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in compliance, legal support, or regulatory affairs preferred; background within professional services or a heavily regulated industry (e.g., accounting, law, engineering, aviation, banking) strongly desired.
- Multi-state compliance experience is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience (e.g., paralegal or compliance-focused role).
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage structured compliance tracking systems and workflows.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Self-directed, dependable, and capable of proactively driving compliance initiatives with minimal supervision.

- Base salary of $70,000-$90,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
