What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRM Implementation Consultant position at ShareCRM?
Location: New York City / Long Island, NY (Hybrid with Travel)
We are looking for a hands-on Implementation Consultant to join ShareCRM's growing North America team. In this role, you will take ownership of deploying and configuring the ShareCRM platform for enterprise customers — from initial setup and data migration through to go-live and post-launch support. You will work at the intersection of technical delivery and customer engagement, ensuring every implementation is executed smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.
This is an ideal opportunity for a CRM delivery professional who thrives in a fast-moving SaaS environment, takes pride in technical precision, and is motivated by seeing customers go live successfully.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Configuration & System Setup
- Environment Configuration: Set up and configure CRM environments including pipelines, workflows, custom fields, user permissions, and reports tailored to each customer's business requirements.
- Workflow Automation: Build and implement automation rules, triggers, and process flows that streamline customer operations within the ShareCRM platform.
- Platform Customization: Work with customers to understand their unique processes and translate them into scalable, maintainable CRM configurations.
Data Migration & Integrations
- Data Migration Execution: Plan and execute data migrations from legacy CRM systems and other data sources, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and continuity throughout the transition.
- System Integrations: Implement standard integrations with ERP platforms, marketing automation tools, support systems, and other third-party applications.
- Integration Testing: Validate integration data flows, troubleshoot API and sync issues, and ensure all connected systems function correctly post-go-live.
Project Delivery & Go-Live
- Implementation Planning: Follow defined project plans and implementation methodologies to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables across concurrent customer engagements.
- Testing & UAT: Lead or support testing phases including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution prior to go-live.
- Go-Live Support: Serve as the primary technical contact during go-live, managing escalations, resolving blockers, and ensuring a smooth customer launch.
Customer Engagement & Training
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle, managing expectations and providing regular progress updates.
- Admin & User Training: Deliver hands-on admin and end-user training sessions, empowering customers to independently manage and grow their CRM adoption post-implementation.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Provide structured hyper-care and post-launch support, addressing configuration adjustments and user questions during the critical adoption period.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in enterprise SaaS or CRM implementation, technical delivery, or system administration.
- Hands-on experience implementing or administering Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable CRM platforms.
- Proven experience with data migration, including mapping, cleansing, and importing structured data between systems.
- Solid understanding of CRM workflow automation, field configuration, and permission structures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Comfortable working directly with customers in a professional, consultative manner.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Flexible and willing to adjust working hours based on team or customer locations.
- Willing and able to travel frequently across the U.S. for customer and partner engagements.
- Demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to take initiative and operate effectively in a fast-growing environment.
- Possesses a can-do attitude, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
