**Account Manager – Chemical & MRO Supplies**
DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia Territory

**Job Overview**
We're expanding and looking for hungry, high-energy Account Managers to own territories across the DC metro area (DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia). You'll focus on new business development while growing existing accounts in the industrial maintenance, chemical, and MRO supplies space.
**What You'll Do**
Prospect aggressively: cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, trade shows, creative lead gen—whatever works
Run sharp product demos that solve real client pain points
Build and farm long-term relationships for repeat and expansion business
Write custom proposals and close deals
Live in the CRM—log everything, forecast accurately
Stay ahead of market trends and competitive threats
**What You Bring**
Proven B2B outside sales or account management experience (industrial/MRO/chemical space strongly preferred)
Documented success hitting or exceeding quota
Comfortable running in-person demos and presenting to maintenance managers, plant managers, procurement, etc.
Strong negotiation and closing skills while keeping relationships intact
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a big plus
Self-starter who thrives with uncapped commissions and minimal micromanagement
Reliable vehicle and clean driving record (travel ~50% of the time within territory)
Uncapped commissions bonuses → realistic $90k–$110k
