POSITION SUMMARY

The Experienced General Laborer is responsible for executing more complex warehouse and operations with minimal supervision. This position requires a solid understanding of inventory management and shipping processes, allowing the individual to work independently while ensuring high-quality standards are met. The Experienced General Laborer will contribute to team efforts and assist in training less experienced staff.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist production departments by supporting machine operators in the production process and carrying out more complex tasks they assign with minimal supervision.
• Manage the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare outgoing shipments efficiently by palletizing, shrink wrapping, and banding products.
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory in the warehouse, ensuring optimal storage and accessibility.
• Collaborate with supervisors to improve workflow processes and implement safety measures.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Mentor entry-level staff and assist with any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or other leaders in the company.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; relevant experience in a similar role preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and apply them effectively.
