Job Overview: Manage, coordinate and perform the installation, repair and maintenance of building systems (i.e., electrical, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, building fire and life safety, security, automation, fire sprinkler and equipment maintenance). Maintain and repair wind turbine, bio-diesel, gas stations, car washes, greenhouses and garden equipment. Maintain rental homes, farm and storage properties. Ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of building systems at all Community properties.
Starting Pay at $30 – $35 per hour.

Maximize Your Impact: The Responsibilities You’ll Own:
- Plan, organize, supervise and perform installation, service, repair and preventative maintenance of all building systems and equipment. Schedule and supervise work done by outside contractors on building systems.
- Document and communicate information regarding building systems and equipment to Director and all affected departments including installation, repair and preventative maintenance schedules, equipment breakdowns and safety concerns.
- Identify problems related to building systems and equipment. Coordinate and make repairs.
- Respond to and assist in all building, equipment or systems emergency situations involving the Maintenance department. Other duties as assigned.
- Monitor therapy pool and water feature water conditions and maintain records according to applicable law.
- Monitor building temperatures and makes adjustments as necessary.
- Operate, program, troubleshoot and repair fire, security and related equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, work area and service vehicle.
- Combination of education and experience to equal 5 years in HVAC&R, electrical, plumbing, building maintenance and building automation.
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing.
- Advanced proficiency with computers, BAS software and preventative maintenance software.
- 1st Class Grade C boilers license, Universal refrigerant license, Certified Pool Operator’s license.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
- Industrial Truck Driving permit may be required (forklift).
- Ability to work in a wide range of climate temperatures, including excessive heat and/or subzero temperatures.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling potential fumes, chemicals, odors, and/or noise.
