The SMSC has donated more than $400 million to organizations and causes, provided $500 million in economic development loans to other tribes, and contributed millions more to support regional governments and infrastructure. The SMSC's Native Green initiative annually diverts hundreds of tons of waste from landfills, has implemented compostable containers throughout our properties, and restored hundreds of acres of prairie land. Team members are eligible to participate in SMSC Gives, a community outreach initiative that organizes various opportunities in the local community. - Monday-Friday: 4:00am-12:30pm
- Thursday-Monday: 4:00am-12:30pm
- Monday-Friday: 10:00am-6:30pm
- Thursday-Monday: 10:00-6:30pm
Create Your Path: The Work You’ll Do:
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness in all areas, including surfaces, floors, restrooms, and common areas in accordance with established protocols and schedules.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies. Follow OSHA policies and procedures. Know and understand MDSD information. Ensure all chemicals and equipment are kept out of reach of children, customer, team members, etc.
- Communicate effectively with customers, children, and employees, keeping high quality customer service and confidentiality as the primary consideration.
- Report any maintenance issues or cleaning equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor.
- Assist other team members when needed.
- Performs additional duties as needed, including providing cleaning services and turnover for special events such as weddings, funerals, etc. Must be available to work weekends and events that may arise with little notice.
- No minimum education requirements.
- Ability to read and speak English clearly.
- Valid Class D driver’s license is required with a good driving record.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling potential fumes, chemicals, odors, and/or noise.
- Ability to move in a variety of motions including bending, squatting, crawling, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and/ or pushing.
- Capacity to handle and lift up to 60 lbs. as needed.
- Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 100% of time.
