- Under the direction of the Warehouse Superintendent, the Warehouse Attendant will move, receive, and organize materials inside of the warehouse and in the exterior lay down yard. When not engaged in material handling, the Warehouse Attendant will complete maintenance and housekeeping tasks as directed.
- Assists the Warehouse Superintendent with all duties, including, but not limited to, the movement of materials (loading/unloading), the receiving of materials, housekeeping, cleaning, and organization.
- Physically lift, carry, handle, place, store, or otherwise move materials as directed
- If certified to operate a forklift or hoist, safety utilize forklift and/or hoist to move materials as directed
- Inspect incoming material and report any damage, missing items, or other related issues to Company management
- Mark identifying information on material
- Ensure all materials are properly stored in accordance with company standards
- Performs routine maintenance duties as directed
- Reports any line problems or issues to supervisor for assistance
- Performs job duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Adheres to all Company safety policies and procedures
- Maintains the cleanliness of the shop’s interior areas and exterior grounds
- Assists with the loading, unloading, and storage of materials from trucks, trailers, or shipping containers
- Moves and organizes materials as directed
- Gathers waste from facility trash bins and take to the exterior dumpsters as needed
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned by Company management

- Ability to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required
- PPE includes but is not limited to: hard hat, task specific safety glasses, life vest, respirators, task specific hearing protection, task specific safety shoes (steel toe or metatarsal), and /or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and may change based on the location in which the work is being completed
- Ability to walk, step, climb, and otherwise move from one location on the job site to another
- Depending on equipment in use, the chosen candidate must be able to physically get into and get out of equipment through the use of vertical mounted ladders up to and including 10’ or more in height
- Ability to visually see worksite environment and observe equipment operations (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to complete repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and back in performance of work
- Ability to climb vertical ladders. Working at elevated heights
- Ability to lift up to and including fifty (50) lb. objects as required
- Ability to carry up to and including fifty (50) lb. objects as required
- Ability to adapt to outdoor conditions and prolonged exposure to the elements
- Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
- 2 years of experience as a warehouse attendant or general laborer is required
- Previous material handling experience, preferred
- Previous forklift operation experience, preferred
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Valid US driver’s l
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred
