Star Fleet Mechanics keeps delivery fleets moving across the Bay Area. This isn’t a shop role—you’ll be out in the field, working where the vehicles are. We’re looking for someone who’s dependable, eager to learn, and not afraid of tough work. If you’ve gone through automotive training or have early shop experience, this is your chance to hit the ground running and grow into a skilled fleet mechanic.About the Role
This role is all about grit and growth. You’ll handle routine maintenance and assist with bigger repair jobs, working side-by-side with seasoned mechanics until you’re ready to take on more independently. If you’re motivated and ready to learn, this is the place to build your career.
Work Schedule- Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM or 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Weekend rotations (Fri–Sun or Sat–Sun)
- Overtime available
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on gas-powered fleet vehicles (oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids)
- Conduct inspections and safety checks
- Assist on electrical, HVAC, and other repair systems under guidance of senior mechanics
- Work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, rain, or wind)
- Balance independence with teamwork to keep vehicles on the road
- Automotive or fleet mechanic schooling / training (certificate or degree) preferred
- Up to 2 years of shop or fleet experience a plus, but not required
- Grit, strong work ethic, and dependability
- Basic tools preferred (specialized equipment provided)
- Valid driver’s license
