Title: HR Coordinator - II
Location: Tampa, FL, 33602 (Hybrid)
Job Duration: 6 months Contract (Possibility of extension)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A reliable and detail-oriented HR Operations professional who enjoys structured, process-driven work, collaborates effectively across teams, and can independently manage end-to-end separation processing with accuracy and accountability in a global, remote-led environment.
Core Responsibilities
• Process voluntary and involuntary termination transactions in Workday or other HR systems
• Manage retirement, end of assignment, and contract end processes
• Ensure completion of final pay-impacting data changes, coordinating with Payroll and Time & Attendance teams
• Administer separation-related documentation, including:
o Termination letters
o Severance documentation
o Exit packages
o Compliance forms
• Monitor adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements throughout the offboarding process
• Handle case management and escalation resolution with minimal supervision
• Participate in cross-functional HR operations workflows where each team owns a portion of the process
Primary Focus Area

Required Experience
• 2–3 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Processing
• Experience in:
o Separation processing
o HR case management
o Leave of absence processes (transferable experience accepted)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently without reliance on scripts
• Comfortable handling escalations with minimal supervision
• Not suitable for recruiting-focused backgrounds
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree required
Systems Experience
• Workday – required / strongly preferred
• ServiceNow – required / highly preferred (ticketing system)
• ADP – preferred (payroll system)
• Strong Excel skills required
o Formulas
o Reporting
o Spreadsheet management
o Beyond basic data entry
Work Environment & Schedule
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (preferred)
• 40 hours per week
• Must be able to work onsite in Tampa, FL (non-negotiable)
• Direct manager is remote (based in Costa Rica)
• Candidate must be comfortable working with international leadership
• Highly cross-functional environment with distributed ownership of processes
