Schedule: Full Time, Varied Hours/Shift,
Position Summary
Enforces hospital rules and regulations. Conducts floor/mobile patrols for the protection of people and hospital assets. Assists patients, visitors and staff to advance the goals and objectives of South Georgia Medical Center. Meet all annual requirements for Officer use of force, handcuff, restraints, and CPR. Conducts both Security Officer and Control Monitor duties when needed. Performs duties as required for secure hour visitation with the Easy-lobby Management system. Responds quickly to all silent alarms. Responds as requested to the Cuddles Infant Security system. Provides Security rounds at the Outpatient Plaza as needed. Monitors cameras as appropriate. Provides Security to the Emergency Department and rounds on psychiatric patients. Conducts patient valuable inventory, pick-up and returns to patients. Conducts bank runs as needed and scheduled. Receives deceased bodies as requested in the morgue and ensures appropriate documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Previous Hospital Security experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license.
- Versed in Hospital Security Procedures.
- Maintain good physical conditioning.
- Exhibit good judgment and moral integrity.
