Now Hiring: Strategic Sourcing Generalist – Technology Procurement (Remote)
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Generalist with experience supporting technology procurement initiatives, including SaaS, enterprise software, cybersecurity, cloud services, and hardware. This is an excellent opportunity for a sourcing professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Location: Remote (EST business hours required)
Contract Duration: Long-term contract with extension potential
Pay rate: $40 - $50/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize spend, reduce risk, and maximize value.
- Lead RFP and RFI processes for technology-related products and services.
- Evaluate suppliers and support vendor selection decisions.
- Negotiate commercial terms, service agreements, licensing models, and contracts.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvement.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
- Experience sourcing within technology categories such as software, SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity, or related technologies.
- Strong contract negotiation experience.
- Experience managing RFPs, RFIs, and supplier evaluations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supplier management platforms, and contract lifecycle management tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPSM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ISM, or similar certifications.
- Experience building cost models and conducting total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.
- Ability to provide strategic recommendations based on market and spend analysis.
