Business Development Representative - Construction

• Position: Concrete Sales Representative
• Location: South Florida (Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties)
• Engagement type : Permanent
• Pay: $100,000.00 per year

A leading independent manufacturer and supplier of ready-mix concrete and concrete block in South Florida is seeking motivated sales professionals to join its growing team. The company supports a wide range of construction projects and is known for delivering quality materials and reliable service across the region.

Position Overview:

We are looking for sales professionals who thrives on building strong relationships and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will be well-respected in the construction industry and experienced in selling concrete or related building materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell ready-mix concrete and concrete block to contractors, builders, and construction companies
• Identify prospective customers and upcoming construction projects
• Establish new customer accounts and secure project opportunities in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners
• Meet or exceed established sales targets and revenue goals
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
• Coordinate with internal departments including customer service, accounting, and operations
• Assist with revenue collection when necessary

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Account Executive or Sales Representative in the construction industry
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company safety standards

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to attend onsite meetings at the Miami office when required
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and drug-free workplace
