Senior Compliance Specialist

· Support software users from field and corporate teams (140 end users) in use of various software platforms (especially Boston Post & Yardi 7S/Compliance Manager).

· I.T. & Software general knowledge and trouble shooting ability will be critical to success.

· Support, trouble shoot, and set up new users in software programs such as Yardi, Boston Post, GraceHill, MS Teams, agency software programs

· Conduct trainings for new and existing property managers in affordable housing

· Assist with set up new properties in Yarid (leasing and tenant software) in a correct and timely manner.

· Assist accounting team in researching issues related to software and the transfer of information between other software to new system.

· Manage and address issues related to software errors and other user mistakes.

· Review household certifications and move-ins for affordable housing properties to ensure compliance.

· Training personnel on preparing income certifications and re-certifications.

· Monitoring and reporting past due recertifications.

*Monitor compliance with various program requirements

*Complete quarterly and annual reports as required by state and federal agencies

· Address compliance training and support needs for site staff.

· Assist with processing of tenant data, voucher transactions for HUD, RD, and other programs to ensure accurate subsidy payments.

*Assist with reconciling and posting monthly subsidy payments for various subsidy programs

*Assist with rent increase and utility allowance changes

Skills/Experience:

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Teams

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating staff members

· Affordable Housing Programs (HUD, RD, LIHTC, HOME)

· At least 2 years’ experience with Yardi software (7S/Compliance Manager/Voyager 8)

· At least 2 years’ experience in compliance of affordable housing properties

· Training: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
