Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a full-time customer service star to join our team. We are a privately owned, 24-hour general, emergency and specialty practice that cares for companion animals. The Client Service Representatives' (CSRs) primary responsibility is to assist our clients. The CSRs are constantly exposed to a variety of unique situations, which means there’s never a dull moment! The ability to remain calm under pressure is key in this position, especially when assisting an emotional client. One of the unique benefits of this position is the relationships that develop between our team members and our clients and their furry family. CSRs are also trained to assist the doctors and technicians with patient handling and minor medical procedures. We have daytime and swing shifts available, 4 10-hour shifts. Shift differential is offered for the swing shift.
If you are outgoing, organized, friendly, and love both people and their pets, this position may be a perfect fit. CSRs are responsible for greeting clients and differentiating routine cases from emergent cases (first line triage). CSRs will schedule appointments, manage the client/patient database, generate invoices, explain services and treatment plans to clients, and process payments. We also offer cross-training to those team members interested in learning more about the medical side of the practice.

Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of the following physical movements: standing, sitting, walking, stooping or kneeling, reaching with arms, talking and hearing
- Vision close and normal, color vision and depth perception
- Able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds without assistance
Work Related Skills:
- Able to read and interpret documents such as medical records and procedure manuals
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to accurately manage currency on a continuous basis
- Intermediate knowledge of windows based computer system
- Able to follow detailed instructions, such as cash drawer and credit card reconciliation
- Able to efficiently operate multi-line telephone system and intercom
- Able to speak effectively to clients and co-workers
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Able to solve practical problems, both routine and novel
- Works well in a team environment
- Respect for all animals and people
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more related experience in face-to-face customer service situations (problem solving, telephone communications)
- Previous currency handling/cashiering experience
Salary : $20 - $21
