Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using radioactive materials
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
- Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to interpret imaging results
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
Requirements:
- Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Wisconsin
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
- BLS certification preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred
- Strong technical, analytical, and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
