Regional Sales Manager – Pest Control (PE-backed, Multi-Location)
Location: Charlotte, NC (relocation support)
I’m working with a private equity–backed, high-growth residential services platform on a key hire: a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales across a multi-location pest control region, ahead of a significant wave of M&A and expansion.
This is a newly created role, opened to strengthen regional leadership as the business scales, not a backfill. The remit is to build and lead a high-performing sales engine across mostly residential, recurring revenue contracts (c. 90% residential), while helping to integrate new acquisitions into a consistent way of selling.
The role
- Title: Regional Sales Manager – Pest Control
- Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Base salary: $85,000 – $120,000
- Bonus: Up to 20% annual bonus
- Location: Charlotte, NC (relocation support)
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and develop a multi-location sales organisation, managing managers and layered teams (not just individual contributors).
- Own regional sales performance, with a very hands-on, in-market leadership style (“boots on the ground”).
- Support integration and uplift of newly acquired pest control businesses, bringing them onto a consistent sales playbook.
- Build and refine sales processes suited to a recurring revenue model (residential pest, contracts, routes).
- Partner closely with the COO, CEO and CFO in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment where performance and pace really matter.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, customer experience, and operational alignment with the wider platform.
What we’re looking for
- Regional or multi-location Sales leadership experience in a service-based business (pest control experience required).
- Track record managing managers and leading sales teams across multiple branches/markets.
- Strong understanding of recurring revenue / contract-driven models.
- Comfortable operating in a PE-backed, high-growth setting with clear KPIs and expectations.
- Willing to spend significant time in the field with teams and customers, not just managing from a desk.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching and performance management skills.
