Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavycleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, waxing, buffing, burnishing floors, washingwalls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine custodial maintenance onmachinery used in daily operations, notifying Servtech management of need for repairs. Individual mayalso be cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. Operating large cleaning equipment such as scrubbingmachines and propane buffers.Tasks: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Strip and refinish floors.Operating scrub machines and propane buffers. Gather and empty trash. Collect and remove cardboard and compact cardboard using baler. Makingcardboard bales and storing them. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, andsqueegees. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.2 to three days a week Sanitizing and cleaning the Meat room.-------Proper mixing of cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer instructions to alleviate wasteand proper cleaning mixtures.-------------Skills: Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Must be able to work evening and night shifts to include graveyard shifts.
