Oracle EBS Inventory, Costing, and WMS Architect
- Must have strong functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite SCM, specifically in Inventory, Costing, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules.
- Must have hands-on experience in Oracle EBS modules such as Inventory, Cost Management, Warehouse Management, Order Management, Purchasing, BOM, WIP, Shipping Execution, and related SCM modules.
- Must have completed 2 or more full lifecycle implementations or major rollout/support projects in Oracle EBS SCM, preferably involving Inventory, Costing, and WMS.
- Should have been part of the complete project lifecycle from requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support in a functional lead or architect role.
- Should have hands-on experience configuring Oracle EBS Inventory organizations, subinventories, locators, item attributes, transaction types, receiving, material transactions, inter-org transfers, cycle counting, physical inventory, costing methods, and WMS rules.
- Should have strong understanding of standard costing, average costing, inventory valuation, cost accounting, landed cost, cost updates, period close, and inventory reconciliation.
- Should have hands-on experience with WMS setup and business processes, including mobile transactions, task management, picking rules, putaway rules, replenishment, packing, shipping, and warehouse execution.
- Should be able to translate business requirements into functional designs, configuration tasks, process flows, test scenarios, and solution documents.
- Should have experience in scope gathering, application design, fit-gap analysis, and future-state process design for Inventory, Costing, and WMS business processes.
- Should have experience in data conversion and migration activities related to items, on-hand balances, subinventories, locators, item costs, open transactions, and inventory/WMS master data.
- Should have experience working with technical teams on interfaces, reports, conversions, extensions, and workflow/customization requirements.
- Should have experience designing and validating roles, responsibilities, menus, functions, and security access as per client needs in Oracle EBS.
- Should have strong understanding of integration points between Inventory, WMS, Costing, Purchasing, Order Management, Shipping, Manufacturing, Payables, Receivables, and General Ledger.
- Should have high-level functional knowledge of Finance processes around Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, Payables, Receivables, Subledger Accounting, and General Ledger.
- Should be able to support client workshops, conduct business process discussions, document requirements, identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive design decisions.
- Should have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues related to inventory transactions, costing errors, WMS execution, accounting distributions, and period-end close.
- Any technical exposure to SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle reports, BI Publisher, interfaces, APIs, workflows, or personalization/customization analysis is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, especially Inventory, Costing, Product Management, Order Management, or Manufacturing, is a plus.
- Should have strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with business users, client stakeholders, offshore teams, and technical teams.
