MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher (Behavior Classroom)to join its instructional staff at Buxton Center Elementary Schoollocated in Buxton, Maine. The successful candidate will provide direct instruction to students in the classroom according to their Individualized Educational Program.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification in content area (#282 endorsement); experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
Salary and benefits are competitive and may be found in the collective bargaining agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association located on the District website.
