North Country Education Services is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work at Heartwood Public Charter School in Jefferson, NH for the 2026-2027 school year.
NCES provides specialized, certified staff for a number of school districts in northern New Hampshire. The immediate area affords the opportunity to explore the White Mountains of New Hampshire through hiking, alpine and Nordic skiing, mountain biking, ATV and snowmobile riding as well as other outdoor activities. New Hampshire has tax-free shopping and is within three hours of Boston, Montreal, and Burlington, VT.

Heartwood Public Charter School utilizes a place-based education model, providing opportunities for our students to build valuable relationships within their community through service, experiential learning, and an integrated curriculum. Students attend grades K-8 and come from towns across the region.
Heartwood operates on a four-day week for students (Monday-Thursday) with Fridays dedicated to collaborative and independent planning, professional development, and other related tasks.
NH special education certification required.
