Contracted School Psychological Examiner

RSU 1 is seeking an experienced School Psychological Examiner to join our Special Education team on a contracted basis (20-24 hours per week on average). This individual will conduct evaluations assessing the intellectual, adaptive, academic, and social emotional development of children in our K-8 population. Consulting and collaborating with the Special Education Director and school staff are essential components of this position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Special Education Law
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Experience building positive relationships with students

• General Liability insurance
• Worker’s Compensation coverage
  
  

Certification

• School Psychologist Certificate (093)
• Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
