Elementary School Counselor (Shared Position) Minot Consolidated School & Elm Street School – RSU 16 RSU 16 is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Elementary School Counselor to support students in our small, supportive communities. This shared position serves both Minot Consolidated School and Elm Street School and offers the opportunity to work within two strong, connected school communities that value collaboration, relationships, and whole-child development. A successful candidate will: Collaborate effectively with families, teachers, administrators, community partners, and other stakeholders to promote student success Have experience working with elementary-aged students and an understanding of their developmental needs Deliver whole-class lessons across grade levels to support students’ social-emotional growth and skill development Support and contribute to school-wide systems such as PBIS and other proactive, preventative practices Provide individual and small group counseling as needed to support student well-being Use a collaborative, problem-solving approach as part of MTSS and student support teams Qualifications: Maine School Counselor Certification (075) required Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Application Information: Position will remain open until filled.
