Cornerspring Montessori School seeks part-time Assistant Teachers for the 2026 -2027 school year to work with children in our Toddler and Primary classrooms. This position requires a nurturing, conscientious teacher who is passionate about working with children. A candidate for this position must be committed to providing a peaceful and accepting classroom environment, display strong organizational and communication skills and a desire to work as a part of a school community in a collaborative partnership to support students’ learning.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree preferred
Montessori Credential Level: Infant/Toddler or Primary preferred
Experience: One or more years of classroom experience a must. Willingness to lead from behind and provide top notch support to the children and lead teacher.
Cornerspring Montessori School is located in beautiful Belfast, ME. Serving students from 18 months to 14 years, Cornerspring has two energy efficient buildings on 42 acres of woodlands. The school offers nature-based science education, the arts and a very committed parent community.
