Position Title: Alumni and Donor Relations Officer
Department: Advancement
Reports To: Assistant Head of School for Advancement
Position Description: The Alumni and Donor Relations Officer supports the Assistant Head of School for Advancement in fundraising and donor engagement. This role focuses on Annual Fund, major gift identification, solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Collaborate with the Assistant Head of School for Advancement on fundraising strategy and execution. ? Focus on unrestricted giving (Annual Fund) and restricted giving. ? Utilize technology, systems, and social media to identify and engage potential donors. ? Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with alumni and donors. ? Organize and attend events to foster donor engagement.
Other Duties: Serve as a member of an MCI Duty Team.
Qualifications: ? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field. ? Expertise in fundraising and donor relations, with proficiency in social media, communication, and relevant technology systems. ? Strong critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. ? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and writing abilities. ? Ongoing professional development through training seminars and conferences is expected.
