Registered Nurse (RN) – Oral Surgery

Service Specialists is recruiting on behalf of a successful oral surgery practice seeking a patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join their clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and has an interest in surgery, sedation nursing, and facial aesthetics. The team is seeking someone who is calm under pressure, highly professional, and passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.
In this role
- Prepare patients for office-based surgical procedures performed under IV sedation/general anesthesia
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, medication reconciliation, and nursing assessments
- Establish and monitor IV access
- Assist during oral surgery and facial cosmetic procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and postoperative recovery
- Coordinate medical clearances with physicians and specialists
- Review labs, EKGs, imaging, and medical histories for surgical readiness
- Communicate pre-op and post-op instructions to patients and families
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Assist with facial aesthetic procedures including Botox/Dysport, laser resurfacing, PRP, microfat, and nanofat treatments
About you
- Active RN license required
- ACLS certification required
- Strong communication and bedside manner
- Ability to multitask in a surgical clinic setting
- Professional, organized, and dependable
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred experience
- Oral surgery
- PACU, ICU, ER, ambulatory surgery, or anesthesia nursing
- IV sedation or procedural recovery
- Cosmetic/aesthetic procedures
