Environmental Project Manager
Tupelo, Mississippi
A successful environmental firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join its team in Tupelo, Mississippi. This individual will play a key role in managing environmental investigations, compliance efforts, permitting activities, and client relationships across a variety of projects. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within an established and respected organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and/or oversee environmental investigations and assessments
- Manage environmental compliance evaluations and permitting activities
- Perform and review Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Prepare technical reports, findings, and project documentation
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
- Utilize AutoCAD for project-related tasks and documentation
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining deadlines and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service
- Provide leadership and direction on environmental projects as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant environmental consulting or related experience
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, investigations, and permitting
- AutoCAD experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to travel on a limited basis as needed
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and client-focused mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000–$90,000 DOE bonus potential
