We are seeking a knowledgeable, flexible, and patient-focused PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team. This role offers the opportunity to support patients when coverage needs arise while working in a positive, collaborative, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Assist patients in improving functional skills, mobility, strength, self-care, and daily living activities.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions according to established goals and OT recommendations.
- Document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the OT, nursing staff, and other care team members to support coordinated patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence and safety in transitional and home environments.
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and facility standards while promoting a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Provide PRN coverage for weekends, vacations, call-outs, and census changes as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of [State].
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (AAS or equivalent).
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
- Experience in transitional care, skilled nursing, acute care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
