Serenity Recruitment Group is retained on a confidential search for an experienced commercial real estate attorney joining the in-house legal team of a privately held real estate firm in the US.
This is a hands-on transactional role working alongside senior business leaders across a diverse portfolio of commercial assets. The firm operates leanly and at pace — the work suits an attorney who takes ownership, exercises sound commercial judgement, and is comfortable engaging across the breadth of an in-house remit.
Role focus
• Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and related transactional documents
• Lead execution on complex commercial leasing transactions
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, and financing work
• Partner with business teams to advance deals commercially and efficiently
Experience profile
• 5–7 years PQE in commercial real estate
• Substantive leasing experience (office and/or retail)
• Active US bar admission
• Hands-on experience representing owners and operators rather than lenders
• Strong commercial instincts; able to run multiple matters concurrently
Not a fit: pure CMBS or lender-side practices.
Location: US-based, hybrid.
Compensation: very competitive, open to discussion for the right profile.
Salary : $210,000 - $260,000
