Full Time Teacher and Floater

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full Time Teacher and or Floater to join our early childhood education team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners, foster their developmental growth, and create a nurturing classroom environment. You will play a vital role in shaping young minds through engaging lessons, personalized attention, and collaborative communication with families. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children aged 12 to 18 months
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play
• Use effective behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation
• Conduct regular assessments of child progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, challenges, and achievements
• Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive lesson plans that incorporate early childhood education best practices such as Montessori or preschool methodologies
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies at all times
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, attendance, and individual child development notes
• Incorporate literacy education, basic math concepts, physical education activities, and early intervention techniques into daily routines
• Apply classroom management skills to foster an organized learning environment conducive to young children’s needs

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
• Experience developing curriculum tailored for toddlers or preschool-aged children
• Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management techniques
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development preferred
• Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols
• Classroom experience demonstrating effective lesson planning and classroom management skills
• Knowledge of standardized testing methods used for early childhood assessment
• Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement-based activities into daily routines is a plus
• Familiarity with Montessori or other specialized early childhood educational philosophies is desirable
