Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full Time Teacher or Floater to join our dynamic early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual child needs
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills
- Support children's developmental milestones through tailored activities in literacy, math, physical education, and more
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and achievements
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate classroom activities and share best practices for early childhood education
- Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and classroom observations
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child welfare and safety at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and curriculum development techniques
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
- Classroom management skills to create an organized, engaging learning environment
- Familiarity with childhood development instruction, standardized testing, and tutoring methods
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed for classroom coverage or special events
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or experience teaching physical education is a plus
