Position Summary
We are hiring licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in Florida to deliver hands-on therapeutic support under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Whether you're seeking consistent hours or flexible scheduling, we offer opportunities tailored to your needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe movement techniques
- Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Current Florida PTA license (required)
- Senior living or similar experience preferred
- Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
- CPR certification (as required by facility or state guidelines)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
