Position Summary
We are seeking licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) in Florida to join our growing team. As a OT at Sequoia Care, you'll assess and implement treatment plans that help individuals regain daily living skills, restore function, and thrive in their environments. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop customized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy to residents in senior living setting
- Focus on improving residents' performance in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, and cognitive function
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies
- Document progress and modify treatment plans based on resident response
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida (required)
- Senior living or similar experience preferred
- Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
- CPR certification (per facility/state requirements)
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and documentation skills
- A passion for resident care, progress, and functional independence
