The Opportunity:

It’s an exciting time in the Sephora Digital Marketing & Media group. Sephora is embarking on the development and launch of our own Retail Media Network: creating new value exchanges for our Brand partners and accelerating ad monetization growth on owned and operated platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director or the Retail Media Network, you will be responsible for delivering paid media strategies and activation plans for our key Brand partners across their US and CA retail media campaigns. Planning and activation will span across onsite and offsite channels to drive sales, ROAS, traffic and brand awareness. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sephora Media Collective, you’ll work closely with Sephora’s Brand Marketing and Marketing Effectiveness teams to deliver best-in-class paid media activation and insights back to Brand partners.

As Manager, Sephora Media Collective, You Will...

  • Manage day-to-day execution and optimizations of operational processes and media activation in conjunction with Assistant Managers and agency partners
  • Create paid media activation plans for all retail media programs, in conjunction with our external agency partners, delivering on Brand goals/metrics
  • Work with external agency partners and Marketing Effectiveness teams in analyzing program performance data and deliver in-campaign and post-campaign reporting insights to inform campaign optimizations and future go-forward recommendations
  • Direct and manage external agencies/partners on day-to-day needs and deliverables for single-brand co-op media campaigns
  • Collaborate with Assistant Media Managers ensuring flawless campaign execution from creative specs, agency hand-off to campaign launches, and managing budgets
  • Manage internal workflow process and campaign delivery milestones with Brand Marketing and external agency partners
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding and ongoing knowledge of media channels and landscape (core channels: Onsite: Display, Onsite Sponsored Products, Offsite: Paid Social, Programmatic, Custom Content, and complementary channels: Video/Connected TV, Audio)
  • Manage budget intake within your category to ensure it aligns with retail media goals and inventory.
  • Work with the Agency to continue to optimize campaign guidelines and ad ops best practices and streamline campaign intake, execution, and optimization process
  • Help to automate the end-to-end process from campaign intake to final report delivery
  • Own cross-functional communication across brand marketing, project management, marketing effectiveness, and agency partners

We’re Excited About You If You Have...

  • 4 years of experience in a digital media / digital advertising role
  • Strong ability to cultivate relationships both internally and externally
  • Experience in retail and ecommerce marketplaces; previous experience with a retail media network build preferred
  • Ability to understand high-level marketing KPIs and how they are driven and reported by MarTech partners
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technologies & tools (Web analytics, tag management, ad servers, attribution)
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and or cloud products, using buying platforms; for example, developing audiences, segments, goals
  • Prior experience working with clients in Ecomm or Omni Retail preferred
  • Former ownership or influence with MarTech road maps, marketing products
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to gather insights and draw conclusions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment #LI-SCR


The annual base salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $132,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
