Overview
The Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with referring and/or attending physicians and school administrators. Responsible and accountable for daily operations, coordination of work, quality of service achievement of operation center goals, objectives, customer satisfaction, and meeting regulatory requirements through providing technical expertise within schools, therapy centers, and events. Facilitates and monitors the work processes of the ATC teams. Develops, implements, and monitors compliance with a unit operating budget. The supervisor is responsible for developing clinical specialties across facilities and is involved in growth and expansion initiatives. Assists in the development, execution, and marketing of assigned Sentara rehab service line. Manages the team by determining complex and high-quality strategies and goals. Establishes standards of excellence. Engages others by seeking feedback and looking for opportunities for improvement. Demonstrates self-awareness by using self-awareness and evaluating feedback. Holds others and is self-accountable for actions. Seeks input and looks for opportunities to improve performance. Travels with teams as needed.

Education
- Bachelor’s Level Degree in Athletic Training required
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Certification – Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- 2 years Supervisory required
