We are excited to announce that we are seeking candidates for a Training Coordinator position. From day one, you’ll join a collaborative, service oriented team dedicated to supporting employee success while advancing Farm Credit of the Virginias’ mission to serve agriculture and rural communities. In this role, you’ll coordinate and support training experiences across the organization, partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver consistent, effective learning. You’ll also support onboarding, instructor led and virtual training logistics, and follow up activities that strengthen readiness and performance across our footprint.
Salary Range: $52,000–$75,500 plus incentive opportunities
Location Options: Staunton, VA, Roanoke, VA, Harrisonburg, VA
- Coordinates logistics for instructor led and virtual training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, room or platform setup, attendance tracking, and participant communication.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for training-related administrative support and participant inquiries.
- Supports training delivery by co facilitating or delivering approved onboarding and role specific training sessions as assigned.
- Coordinates onboarding activities, schedules, and tracking to support consistent and effective new hire experiences.
- Creates, maintains, and refreshes practical learning tools such as job aids, practice activities, and reinforcement resources.
- Supports Career Café offerings through content coordination, session logistics, and participant tracking.
- Collects training feedback and completion data and assists with post training follow up and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborates with leaders, managers, and subject matter experts to support effective learning experiences aligned with L&D strategy.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- One or more years of experience in training coordination, learning and development, facilitation support, or a related role.
- Experience supporting instructor led training for adult learners (in person and/or virtual).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools and learning or virtual platforms.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow through.
- Valid driver’s license and availability for occasion al travel.
