Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and document progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility and strength.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and wellness strategies.
• Monitor and report patient responses to therapy and adjust care as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible availability for PRN shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
