Part-Time Social Media Manager (Hybrid | Personal Brand Business Accounts)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to manage and grow two social media accounts: a Founder's personal brand and a professional services business account. This role focuses on building authority, engagement, and brand consistency through high-quality content and short-form video.
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office content capture ONCE per week, with the remaining work completed remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Instagram content strategies for both personal brand and business accounts
- Plan, write, and publish content including Reels, carousels, and static posts
- Write engaging captions with strong hooks and calls to action
- Capture short-form video content in-office once per week
- Create or coordinate video editing for Reels
- Maintain two distinct but aligned brand voices
- Repurpose content ideas across both accounts when appropriate
- Manage content calendars and consistent posting schedules
- Optimize posting times, hashtags, and engagement strategy
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategy based on performance
- Ensure brand consistency, professionalism, and quality
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience managing Instagram accounts for personal brands and/or businesses
- Proven success growing engagement and audience on Instagram
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video strategy
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Comfortable filming content in-office (iPhone filming is sufficient)
- Experience with Canva and short-form video tools (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with founders, executives, or service-based businesses
- Understanding of thought leadership and authority positioning
- Experience in professional services, healthcare, or B2B brands is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time role
- 15-20 hours per week
- Hybrid: 1 in-office day per week, remainder remote
- Hourly or monthly retainer, based on experience
