Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Oversee the construction department from start to finish
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and daily field operations
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Ensure work aligns with approved scope, estimates, and members expectations

Team & Vendor Management

• Grow our technician network by hiring
• Supervise safety technicians and subcontractors
• Ensure subcontractors meet Senior Proof standards, licensing, and insurance requirements
• Provide on-site guidance and problem-solving support

Materials & Permitting

• Order project materials and ensure timely delivery to job sites
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage availability and costs
• Obtain and manage required permits with city and local jurisdictions
• Ensure projects comply with permitting requirements and inspection timelines

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure all work meets local codes, and company standards
• Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
• Complete final walkthroughs and punch lists

Communication & Coordination

• Collaborate with Operations and Sales to execute projects smoothly
• Serve as a point of contact for internal teams regarding construction progress
• Communicate clearly and professionally with members, caregivers, vendors, and inspectors

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate project documentation, photos, and updates in CRM
• Track change orders, delays, material needs, and permit status
• Report project status, risks, and issues to leadership

Cross-Functional Support

• Assist with operational tasks and special projects as needed
• Provide support to other departments to ensure overall project and company success

Qualifications

Required

• 3 years of construction or remodeling management experience
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and sequencing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with accessibility modifications, aging-in-place, or healthcare-related construction
• Experience supervising technicians or subcontractors
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
