We are expanding our presence throughout Southern and Central New Jersey and are seeking a talented and relationship–focused Regional Director of Business Development to lead our referral growth and partnership strategy.

Position Overview
The Regional Director of Business Development plays a critical leadership role in managing referral-driven sales efforts, building high-level healthcare relationships, and setting the vision for market growth.
The ideal candidate is a senior care or healthcare sales leader with extensive knowledge of the South and Central New Jersey market, strong connections in the healthcare community, and a proven record of success leading teams in external business development.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of Directors of Business Development across multiple counties.
Set strategy, establish performance goals, and hold the team accountable for growth objectives.
Support business development staff through field coaching, partner visits, and referral conversion support.
Strategic Business Development
Develop and execute a regional growth plan focused on building referral pipelines and strategic alliances.
Identify and cultivate partnerships with hospitals, health systems, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, physician groups, assisted living communities, and community organizations.
Lead efforts to expand market share and strengthen brand presence throughout the region.
Relationship Management
Build and sustain executive-level relationships with healthcare and senior living partners.
Represent the organization as a trusted partner to referral sources and professional networks.
Collaborate with internal operations and marketing teams to ensure partner satisfaction and referral success.
Market Analysis & Strategy
Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to inform business development strategy.
Analyze referral data and territory performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Report regularly to executive leadership on regional performance and growth metrics.
Community Engagement & Brand Promotion
Attend and represent the organization at regional networking events, healthcare expos, and professional associations.
Partner with marketing to implement targeted campaigns that increase visibility and referral generation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred).
5 years of senior care or healthcare liaison external sales experience
2 years in a leadership or regional role, overseeing a team or multi-site territory.
Deep understanding of the Southern and Central New Jersey healthcare landscape.
Proven success in referral-based sales, physician liaison, or healthcare partnership development.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and CRM proficiency.
