Senior Care Solutions partners with skilled nursing and assisted living communities across Wisconsin during leadership transitions, staffing gaps, and organizational change. As our Interim DON or DHS, you'll step into a community, stabilize clinical operations, coach the team, and leave things stronger than you found them — then do it again somewhere new.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the Interim DON or DHS for skilled nursing and assisted living communities.
- Lead day-to-day clinical operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and support nursing teams through leadership transitions.
- Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to maintain exceptional resident care.
- Assess clinical operations and implement improvements quickly.
- Complete required clinical documentation and state reporting.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN or Compact license in good standing.
- Current Minnesota RN license in good standing a plus
- Working knowledge of Wisconsin long-term care regulations.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Compact WI RN license.
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid survey readiness.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a DON, DHS, or in an equivalent nursing leadership role within skilled nursing or assisted living.
