Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries; maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and accruals.
- Support cost accounting, job costing, and departmental spend analysis to optimize operational performance.
- Lead or assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting to inform business decisions.
- Support treasury functions and oversee accounts receivable collections.
- Collaborate with operational and leadership teams to drive financial clarity and improvements.
- Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Utilize ERP systems (Synchro, SAGE) for reporting, process improvements, and training purposes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting within a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAGE and Synchro.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Familiarity with inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
