Position Description:
Join a leading manufacturing facility as a Reliability & Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant utility systems. In this role, you will manage critical spare parts inventory, lead Root Cause Analysis investigations, and drive continuous improvements to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize utility systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC, and water treatment, supporting installation, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance. You will also develop and implement maintenance strategies, analyze reliability KPIs, and promote a culture of safety and operational excellence. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity suited for a proactive engineer looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Top Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in utility systems, maintenance engineering, or plant reliability in manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or industrial settings.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix) and strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Qualifications:
Education · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications · Must possess a valid driver's license
Technical Qualifications & Skills · Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical utility systems. · Knowledge of reliability engineering concepts and RCA methodologies. · Familiarity with spare parts management, BOMs, and inventory optimization. · Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings. · Competency with data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI, Teams, Outlook, Word, Power point, etc.).
· Understanding of the facilities industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields
· Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
· Ability to operate a personal computer, cell phone; and/or electronic tablet
· May need to support non-customary schedules and weekend work
