Position Description

The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable traveling frequently, including overnight and weekend assignments. You will serve as a central point for project execution, working closely with vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver timely, compliant, and quality installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 10–30 active furniture and miscellaneous tickets from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to company standards, ADA regulations, and building codes.
- Coordinate vendor site visits, oversee furniture, artwork, and marketing installations, and perform punch lists and field surveys.
- Review quotes, assist with pricing and warranties, and facilitate purchasing approvals.
- Create and review furniture drawings (existing and proposed) for project approval.
- Document all project activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Act as primary contact for internal teams (Construction, IT, Facilities, Security) and external vendors.
- Lead project meetings, communicate progress, risks, and next steps clearly, and prepare presentation decks.
- Support move projects, reconfigurations, and asset management, including updating floor plans and supporting CAFM systems.
- Track project metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Provide flexible support during peak workloads and assist with additional project tasks as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial furniture implementation experience (not interior design).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit (at least 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of furniture repairs, warranties, and vendor coordination.
- Experience with work order or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and drawings.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow-through.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with frequent travel (VA, MD, NC), including nights, weekends, and overtime; personal vehicle use reimbursed.
- Experienced in commercial furniture project execution and vendor management.
- Well-versed in ADA and building code compliance.
