Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-voltage (30KVA) electrical systems in industrial environments.
- Lead a team of up to 5 Journeyman electricians, providing guidance, training, and oversight.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other safety regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with Spanish and English-speaking team members.
- Assist in planning and coordinating job site activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
- High Voltage Certification (Required).
- Industrial electrical experience (Required).
- Experience working with 30KVA electrical systems.
- Leadership experience managing teams of 5 electricians.
- Ability to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area (Relocation assistance available).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
- Must be able to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and heights.
