This role is perfect for professionals with a strong background in pricing operations who thrive on detail and process improvement, aiming to enhance the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of commercial pricing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotes, ROMs, renewals, expansions, and customer-specific pricing proposals.
- Apply and enforce approved pricing, packaging, discount, and approval guidelines.
- Coordinate and facilitate pricing reviews and approvals with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Support non-standard transactions such as partner, reseller, pass-through, and contractual deals.
- Maintain thorough documentation for pricing, quotes, approvals, and product readiness.
- Implement pricing and product decisions within catalogs, SKUs, CRM, CPQ, and quote systems.
- Assist in onboarding new products and major feature updates within pricing systems.
- Identify and resolve pricing, data, process, and approval issues.
- Track requests, cycle times, exceptions, and recurring issues to streamline operations.
- 5 years of experience in pricing operations, sales operations, deal desk, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience preparing quotes, proposals, ROMs, renewals, and customer transactions.
- Proficiency with CRM, CPQ, ERP, or product catalog systems.
- Strong understanding of applying pricing guidance and coordinating approvals.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of pricing approval processes, discount guardrails, contract terms, and risk management.
- Analytical and organizational problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Background supporting SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, or technology services.
- Familiarity with partner/reseller transactions and government or regulated markets.
- Ability to create process documentation, templates, and operating procedures.
