Position Description
Seneca Resources is seeking an IT Systems / Network Support Technician to install, configure, service, repair, and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems in both stand-alone and client-server environments. This role supports Microsoft Server platforms, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized IT systems, including hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating multiple Information Systems (IS) in a networked environment, troubleshooting customer IT issues, and performing hardware upgrades and repairs to ensure mission readiness and continuity. This position also involves installation, optimization, and troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LANs) and Base Area Networks (BANs).
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and repair IT systems in stand-alone and client-server environments
Support Microsoft Server, DMS, and other authorized IT systems
Integrate multiple information systems within a networked infrastructure
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer IT and network issues
Perform required hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability
Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and transmission media
Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software
Ensure proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software
Install, optimize, and troubleshoot LAN and BAN environments

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience supporting IT systems and network environments

MS-900 (or equivalent)

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Certification Credential Level: IAT Level II
Education
High School Diploma or GED (required)
