Position Description
- Join a dynamic team supporting advanced mission systems as an Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) Engineer.
- In this role, you will leverage your electrical engineering expertise to design, develop, and optimize EO/IR systems critical to defense and military applications.
- You will manage the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, collaborate with OEMs to enhance system performance, and contribute to integrating cutting-edge technologies across various platforms.
- This is your opportunity to apply your technical skills to meaningful projects that improve Warfighter capabilities, working on challenging system integration issues and inform future technological advancements.
- You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to analyze, test, and refine EO/IR designs, ensuring they meet operational requirements and performance standards.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in EO/IR systems engineering
- Proven ability to manage and support SETR processes
- Strong understanding of systems integration challenges in EO/IR technology
- Experience with modern Navy EO/IR platforms and technologies
- Knowledge of system targeting algorithms, testing techniques, and performance optimization
- Ability to analyze EO/IR designs and recommend improvements to enhance system integration and performance
