Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer to support the design, deployment, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud solutions. This role is ideal for early-career cloud professionals who are eager to grow their technical skills while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.
The Cloud Engineer will assist infrastructure, application, and digital teams in implementing cloud services, monitoring system performance, and supporting continuous improvements across cloud-based platforms. This position offers hands-on exposure to modern cloud technologies, operational best practices, and real-world enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and services
- Assist senior engineers in deploying, debugging, and optimizing cloud environments
- Collaborate with application and product teams to implement approved cloud resources and solutions
- Analyze system performance using monitoring, capacity planning, and incident analysis tools
- Participate in outage investigations and root cause analysis to improve system reliability
- Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and cloud best practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and project objectives
Required Skills / Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a professional IT, cloud, or infrastructure-related role
- Exposure to one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Basic understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, system troubleshooting, and performance analysis
- Foundational experience with scripting or coding and analytical problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
